Caliq is a calorie tracking app made for Indian users.

What makes it different is that you just type your meal like you'd tell a friend, something like "2 chapati dal and 150g paneer" and it instantly shows you the calories, macros and micronutrients like vitamins and minerals.

No forms, no dropdowns, nothing complicated. It also has really good coverage of Indian foods using INDB and IFCT databases so things like dals, sabzis and rotis actually show up correctly instead of being a guessing game. There's also this goal date feature which I think is the best part, it shows you when you'll hit your target weight and that date moves forward or backward everyday depending on what you eat. So you actually feel the impact of your food choices in real time.

Most calorie apps are just too slow or they don't have Indian foods at all and people end up quitting after a week. Caliq is trying to fix that by making the whole thing feel fast and easy to stick to. Also it tracks micronutrients so you can see if your hitting your iron or B12 for the day which most apps don't even bother with.
