Watchgoose monitors cron jobs, backups, and other scheduled tasks using heartbeat pings. Set an expected schedule and grace period for each check, then send a ping when the job completes. If the expected ping does not arrive after the schedule and grace period, Watchgoose alerts you through your configured notification channels.
