About PetSilence
PetSilence is a free browser-based classroom noise monitor for K-5 teachers. Open petsilence.com on the classroom computer, press Start, and a class pet (corgi, kitten, bunny or panda in cartoon, hand-drawn or felt style) or physics bouncing balls react to the room volume on the projector, so students can see when it is getting too loud. Teachers pick Silent or Whisper mode, calibrate for the room, set 3-15 minute focus goals and award stars. No teacher or student account is needed, nothing to install, and audio is processed on the device and never recorded or uploaded.
