About PassWizard
PassWizard is a free security toolkit built around one hard rule: everything runs locally in your browser, and your secrets never leave your device.
The password generator uses the browser's Web Crypto API with rejection sampling for unbiased, cryptographically secure randomness. It shows live entropy bits and estimated crack times, supports configurable character sets and lengths up to 64 characters, and offers a passphrase mode based on the EFF wordlist.
The WiFi QR designer turns your network credentials into a scannable QR code — with custom shapes, colors, and your own logo — so guests join your WiFi without ever seeing the password as text. Generation happens on-device.
The leak check tests whether a password appears in known breaches via Have I Been Pwned's k-anonymity API: only the first five characters of a local SHA-1 hash are sent, never the password itself.
PassWizard also offers research-backed security guides — password cracking times, 2FA, password managers, safe password sharing — with every statistic referenced to verifiable sources (NIST, Microsoft and Google research, HIBP). Available in English, German, Spanish, and French.
Completely free, no account, no dark patterns.
