Millions of powerful GPUs sit idle for hours every day in gaming PCs, workstations, and servers, while AI researchers, developers, creators, and businesses often face high prices or limited availability when accessing GPU infrastructure. Petabyte aims to bridge this gap by turning unused computing resources into accessible, on-demand infrastructure.

For GPU owners, Petabyte provides a simple way to monetize idle hardware. A seller installs the Petabyte agent on a compatible machine, makes the GPU available to the marketplace, and earns money when customers use its computing capacity. Sellers receive 90% of the rental revenue, while Petabyte charges a 10% platform fee. Owners remain in control of when their hardware is available, allowing them to earn from equipment that would otherwise generate no revenue.
